Mortal has been an underground electronic / industrial outfit since the early 90’s performing primarily in underground electronic clubs on the west coast, venturing out across the country on several occasions. “Nu-En-Jin” is a darker industrial record with elements of a variety of forms of dance music. Rather than being a free form noise outfit, Mortal has always built their songs with a more rock feel, being compared to early Ministry and Skinny Puppy and contemporaries such as Hate Dept. or Apoptygma Berzerk.
